Ladies Opening Scramble and Brunch – Saturday May 11^th

General Description:

The Ladies' Opening is an 18-hole scramble event, usually played by a team of four players.  The scramble format will be described on the signup sheet. Groups will be set up by the Tournament Committee and posted on the online booking system by Thursday prior to the event.  Prizes are awarded for low team net scores. The entry fee includes a Brunch and the Annual General spring meeting before the tournament.  The Brunch starts at 10:00am with golf starting at 12:30pm

Sign-up: Sheets will be posted in the ladies’ lounge in April

Deadline: Entries close on the Sunday preceding the event

Cost:  The cost for this event will be listed on the sign-up sheet in the ladies’ lounge

The Ladies' Opening is an 18-hole scramble event, usually played by a team of four players.  All players drive from the tee, the best shot is selected and all team members play again from that spot - and so on until the ball is holed. Prizes are awarded for low team net scores. This event is usually held in early to mid-May, and the entry fee includes a Brunch & the annual general spring meeting before the tournament.

Start time: 12:30 pm - Cross Over

Cost: The cost of Golf and Meal will be listed on the sign-up sheet in the ladies lounge

Sign-up: Sheets are posted on the bulletin board in the ladies lounge, Online sign-up is not available at this time.

Please place entry fee (make cheques payable to Mississippi Ladies’ Section) in a sealed envelope and deposit in the lock box in the ladies’ lounge. For cash payments please ensure that you have indicated the event, amount and your name on the outside of the envelope.

Note that we contract our meals through the kitchen,  cancellations after the signup sheet has been removed will not be refunded and you will still be responsible for payment of the meal.
