The mixed opening is an 18-hole, 4-person (male and female) scramble event. Prizes are awarded to teams that record the lowest gross and net scores. Net scores are determined by subtracting 40 per cent of a couple’s combined handicap from their gross score. The Mixed Opening tournament is played in May and is a great way to meet other couples at Mississippi.
